No new wires HomePlug networking

Whilst wired networks are the most reliable, they are not always possible.
The HomePlug 'No new wires' system offers a practical alternative to
wireless operation in many situations.

These HomePlug units provide networking with 'No new wires' by utilising
your mains power circuits! Each unit has an RJ45 Ethernet socket, ethernet
cable and a mains plug. Plug two in and the computers plugged into them will
be connected via the mains wiring, allowing data to be transferred just as
if the ethernet cables were both connected to a hub rather than via the
mains power circuit.

These interfaces are the latest 85Mbps units - considerably faster than the
previous range of 14Mbps interfaces. The network can be password protected
to ensure security. To change the default password requires configuration
via a PC, or we can change the default password for an additional 5 GBP per
device.
